When my best friend lost her mother, I did what Minnesotans do: I showed up at her door. While organizing her freezer filled with everyone's casseroles, I spotted a to-do list and promised, "I've got this for you."

Little did I know, that simple list would consume 900 hours and over 18 months to complete. I navigated unresponsive lawyers, unhelpful banks, and countless administrative hurdles, doing everything I could to help my friend. That's why I created Alix. I wanted to bring families the certainty and support they deserve when they need it most, so no one has to piece it together alone like my friend and I did.
